Naples Amusement Park, one of the best equipped and most extensive in Italy, which offered great leisure moments to generations of citizens. It was opened in 1965 as a theme park, inspired by the Californian Disneyland, opened ten years before.
The name Edenlandia was chosen thinking of a place suitable for everyone, adults and children.
Its logo, in addition to the writing in Gothic character, displays the symbol of a castle built in the park (Lord Sheidon Castle) and a crown of stars.
The heyday of Edenlandia was reached in the Seventies, when it became a national and international tourist attraction.
After the bankruptcy in 2011 and a period of temporary opening, Edenlandia has been closed since January 31st, 2013.
Finally, a group of local businessmen, under the name of New Edenlandia srl, bought the park in 2015 and started the restoration and modernization works in November 2015.
New opening day to be scheduled in the near future.
