The building called Cubo d’Oro (Golden Cube) is located along Viale delle Palme. Made of reinforced concrete, it is characterized by pillars interspersed with window frames and panels. Its façade is covered by a golden mosaic, inspired to arabesque decorations, that highlights the geometric shape of the structure. Its interiors, called the Empire Hall in the ‘40s, are decorated with large enrollments and two frescoes by Giovanni Brancaccio.

The Cubo d’Oro may be used as an expo area, becoming part of the great offer of locations in Mostra d’Oltremare. It hosted international events, such as Comicon, Forum of Cultures, and so on.
